Admission Requirements
What You Need to Apply
For PGD and MA Programmes
- You will need a BA or BSc degree with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Your degree should be in English, Literature, Theatrical Arts, Linguistics, Journalism, Mass and Public Communication, History, Art History, Religious Studies, Philosophy, or Education.
- A 60% score in research work is expected.
- Social science degree holders or those with an HND can apply if they demonstrate some experience in creative writing.
For the PhD Programme
- A relevant Master of Arts or Master of Fine Arts degree is required.
- Your postgraduate degree must come with a 3.0 GPA and a 60% score on research work.
Duration of Programmes
- 8 months for the Postgraduate Diploma.
- 2 years for the Master’s Degree.
- 3-4 years for the Doctorate Degree.
