- Two (2) “A” Level Passes in Arts or Social Science subjects
- A National Certificate in Education (NCE), a National Diploma (ND), or a First Degree with a minimum grade of Second Class Lower
- Possession of five (5) “O” Level Credit Passes, including English and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO.

- Direct entry candidates who meet the aforementioned qualifications.
- Candidates wishing to transfer from other universities to St Albert Institute.
