The name of the 2023 JAMB novel is The Life Changer by Khadija Abubakar Jalli.
This particular book has been used for two years now (2021 and 2022). There is every possibility that the same book may not be used for the 2023 UTME exercise because JAMB has been consistent in using a particular novel for only two years.
In 2017 JAMB recommended two novels which include “In Dependence” by Sarah Ladipo Manyika and “The Last Days at Forcados High School” by H. Mohammed. In Dependence was so used in 2018. In 2019 and 2020, JAMB used Sweet Sixteen as her recommended novel. Then in 2021 and 2022, The Life Changer by Khadija Abubakar Jalli was used.
In the same manner, there is a high probability that a new novel might be recommended. Pending when such changes is made, we believe that JAMB still uses The Life Changer by Khadija Abubakar Jalli.
When will the new JAMB book be out?
The book which will be used for the 2023 UTME will be announced officially in January when JAMB registration starts. For now, we are not sure of the book until it is officially announced by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. We shall update this page once the announcement is made.
