FUTA’S EARTH AND MINERAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENTS EARN FULL ACCREDITATION FROM COMEG.
- Five departments in the School of Earth and Mineral Sciences at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) have earned full accreditation status from the Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG). This status, effective from January 2022 to December 2025, extends to programs such as Applied Geology, Applied Geophysics, and Marine Science and Technology. The accreditation certificates have been received and conveyed to the Vice Chancellor.
