DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR HND-B.SC. CONVERSION PROGRAMMES FOR 2023/2024.

  • The Delta State University of Science and Technology (DSUST), Ozoro, is now accepting applications for its HND-B.Sc. Conversion programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session. The programme is open to Higher National Diploma holders, offering a wide range of courses across different faculties. Prospective students must meet specific requirements, including NYSC completion, HND certification, and five O’level credits. An application fee of N30,000 is required.

Eligibility Criteria for DSUST HND-B.Sc. Conversion Admission

Before diving into the application process, it’s crucial for candidates to check if they meet the prerequisites for entry:

  1. Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possession of an Exemption discharge certificate.
  2. Attainment of a Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognised Polytechnics or Colleges of Technology.
  3. Acquisition of five credit passes in examinations such as WAEC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE Ordinary Level (O/L). These must be procured in no more than two sittings. Essential subjects include English Language and Mathematics, along with any three other subjects pertinent to the desired study area.

Steps to Apply for DSUST HND-B.Sc. Conversion Programme

For those eager to seize this educational opportunity, here is a step-by-step guide to the application process:

  1. Candidates must first procure a Bank Draft for N30,000. This should be from a mainstream deposit money bank (note: micro-finance banks are not acceptable). The draft should be made in favour of Delta State University, Ozoro.
  2. Once acquired, this bank draft must be presented at DSUST’s Bursary Department, where it will be exchanged for an official receipt.
  3. Armed with this receipt, candidates can then head to the Admissions Office to collect the application form.
