Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI)

The Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI), founded in 2011 under the auspices of the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, invites applications for its 2023 cohort. Structured as an intensive, community-focused professional development programme, CYFI targets individuals in the early-to-mid stages of their professional careers. Eligibility Requirements: Who Can Apply?

Age and Nationality

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 30 as of the final date for application submissions.

Geographical Residency

Candidates must be Nigerian nationals residing in one of the following states: Enugu, Delta, Edo, or Rivers.

Language Proficiency

A high degree of proficiency in English, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking, is obligatory for all applicants.

Alumni Status

Previous alumni of the Carrington Fellowship Initiative are not eligible for this programme.

Availability

Applicants must commit to full participation in the programme, which spans a period of one year and is conducted within the aforementioned states.
