Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Candidates should ideally possess a minimum of five credit passes, inclusive of English Language and Mathematics, obtained within a span of not more than two separate examination sittings.

- The principal objective is to significantly improve the performance of prospective students in national examinations like WASC, NECO, and GCE. This is strategically designed to meet the stringent admission prerequisites for Science and Engineering programmes.
Maximizing UTME and Post-UTME Success
- The programme aims to equip candidates for success in the UTME and Post-UTME examinations, thereby optimizing their prospects for gaining admission into these highly competitive programmes.

- Additionally, the initiative seeks to elevate the academic calibre of candidates who gain admission into the 100-level programmes at FUPRE and other universities, ensuring a more knowledgeable and skilled student body.

Comprehensive Nine-Month Curriculum
The Pre-Degree initiative at FUPRE is an intensive nine-month instructional programme that encompasses comprehensive teaching and coaching sessions in the following academic disciplines:

How to Apply for Pre-Degree Admission at FUPRE
Application Fee and Procedure
Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000). This fee can be paid online or through bank channels.

- Generate an invoice utilizing one’s mobile number.
- Proceed to either complete the payment online or utilize the invoice for bank payment.
- Utilize the processed RRR to complete the application form.
- Print out the acknowledgement slip as a record of successful application submission.
Important Note on Admission Criteria
It is imperative to note that admission into FUPRE’s 100-level courses will be determined by the candidate’s average scores in both the final Basic Studies Examination and the JAMB examination.
