Delta State Government Scholarship Scheme, which is fully funded by the Delta State Government is presently accepting applications from eligible students.

The Delta State Government Scholarship Scheme

The Delta State Scholarship is an initiative undertaken by the government to fulfill its social welfare and corporate responsibility towards the residents of Delta State.

Typically, the scholarship is funded by the Delta State Government through the State’s Bursary program.

This award aims to provide support to young students in educational institutions, particularly those who face financial constraints in pursuing their academic goals.

Throughout the years, numerous students have been beneficiaries of the Delta State Scholarship Program.

Eligibility for Delta State Government Scholarship

All potential applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

1. Be of Delta State origin.

2. Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

3. Be enrolled as a full-time student at a recognized public tertiary institution.

4. Must have completed at least the second year of study (200 to 500 level) in a university.

5. For polytechnic/monotechnic applicants, must be in ND II or HND II.

6. For all higher institutions, must be at the 200 level or above.

7. Only approved public and private universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education are eligible for application.

Requirements for Delta State Government Scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship, the following requirements must be met:

1. You must be a native of Delta State.

2. You must be enrolled in an approved educational institution.

3. You must demonstrate satisfactory academic performance.

4. Students in higher education institutions such as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education are expected to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

5. Successful applicants will undergo a screening process to verify their credentials.
